What Levels Of Radon Are Safe?
Radon is radiation, so there are no “safe levels” of radon. That means you want to limit your exposure as much as possible. The EPA says that you should fix your house if it tests above 4 pCi/L and seriously consider fixing your house if it tests between 2 pCi/L and 4 pCi/L. After mitigation most of the homes that we work on end up testing the same as outside air which is usually around 0.2-0.8 pCi/L.
